How much does it cost to hire a high-profile entertainer?
Typically an international celebrity can range in price from $10,000 to over $1 million per show, speaking engagement or appearance. Prices will always vary depending on location, time of the year, length of performance and other factors. We will do our best to find the right talent for your event within your budget.
What types of events do you provide entertainment for?
Our experienced agents have booked entertainment for Corporate Sales Meetings, High-Profile Cocktail Parties, Fundraisers, Grand Openings, Anniversaries, Incentive Meetings, Awards Gala, Cocktail Parties, Corporate Meetings, Weddings, Special Events, Business Meetings, Event Productions, Black Tie Affairs, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras, Reuinions, Festivals, Fairs, Trade Shows, Concert Venues, Birthday Celebrations and Fundraising Events.
How much time is required to contract a speaker or entertainer?
Headline entertainers may be contracted as far in advance as one year, and oftentimes more. There are no specific time guidelines on this. If the date is plausible and an artist is available and willing to perform on the date then we can sign contracts with deposits.
What does hiring a celebrity for my event entail?
When you considering booking a high profile entertainer or speaker, you'll first decide on the date, the venue, and determine your general entertainment budget. You can then fill out the talent inquiry form on your selected entertainer's profile page. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and budget, or suggest similar alternatives.
When you have submitted your information we will call you to discuss how best to proceed, including an analysis of your objectives, budget and talent choice so that we can ultimately present an offer to your top entertainment choice.
Are there any upfront fees when I utilize Book The Best's services?
There is no upfront fee to use our services (unless there is a mutual agreement between both parties). Book the Best will not invoice you until the speaker/entertainment is confirmed.
Is a deposit required to book an artist?
Your deposit payment is due at the onset when the talent is confirmed. The balance is due prior to your event.
Do I have to deal with a rider for the performer I wish to hire?
A rider is a set of requests or demands that a performer will set as criteria for performance. The hospitality rider is a list of requests for the comfort of the artist on the day of the show. Sometimes this document is provided along with the technical rider; other times, it is provided much closer to the performance date. Some common requests are: Specific foods, Particular beverages, Towels, Transportation and hotels, A runner, A number of 'comp tickets', Security and/or locking rooms.
Additonally, a technical rider is a document which is typically provided in advance for a show, defining the types of equipment to be used, the staff to be provided, and various business arrangements. It will also define the amount of power that needs to be available, as well as the weight that the structure will need to support for trusses. Book The Best will work with the management of the artist on the issue.
Which details do you handle in the booking process?
Book The Best is made up of seasoned event experts with the organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills to successfully execute every facet of the entertainer for your corporate or private event, including transportation. We will assist you in the selection of the talent, the negotiating and contracting of the talent, and can in some cases be available on the day of the event to help with talent coordination. The basic elements involved in the booking of an event are: the arrangement of on-site production (staging, sound, lighting, electrical, catering) flights, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and details that the artist and purchaser have agreed to beforehand in the artist's rider.
